The global client had multiple financial reports in different formats generated from each of their locations around the globe. The purpose of this initiative was to standardize financial data submission to simplify global financial reporting.
Our role was to provide a program leadership support role for both the Financial Reporting Consolidation and the implementation of an Indirect Procurement ERP system. We provided program leadership for both business and IT leadership to support the successful implementation of the two initiatives. The engagement was approximately two-years in duration.
The client received two primary benefits from this initiative: 1) Consistent, simplified, and automated reporting process of financial data and minimized manual financial consolidation activities by the client’s Finance team; and 2) A global and consistent process and tools for indirect purchases worldwide.
