Provided program leadership and negotiation strategy assistance to our client’s Strategic Sourcing organization for a large global strategic initiative with one of their strategic vendors.
Our role was to provide program leadership support to the client’s Strategic Sourcing organization in the following areas: RFI planning and development, RFI submission, evaluation, shortlist selection, RFP planning, development and submission, RFP response evaluation and scoring, vendor presentations, vendor decision, and negotiations. The engagement was approximately six-months in duration.
The client received two primary benefits from this initiative: 1) Successful vendor negotiation strategy around the protection of Intellectual Property (IP) and; 2) Program Leadership support on planning and executing the multiple workstreams associated with the vendor selection and decision-making process.
